The milestone 100th episode takes viewers back in time six years as Brennan and Booth recount the first case they worked on together. With Sweets finishing his book on their partnership, Brennan and Booth take this opportunity to set the record straight. A young and rebellious FBI Agent Booth seeks the help of an team of anthropological scientists and a street artist to find the evidence that will prove his high-profile suspect guilty. Although in unfamiliar territory, Dr. Brennan, her grad student Zack (guest star Eric Millegan) and Hodgins get right to work, impressing Booth with their knack for uncovering new leads and substantiating his theory about a well-connected district judge. While the case cements a foundation for a successful future partnership, it also reveals the convoluted romantic beginnings of the formidable duo whose feelings for each other almost destroyed the team but still linger years later.

this is only the 100th episode. we have more to go. Brennan needs to be jealous.I am more interested in the finale.

I cant believe that brennan turned him down. If she loves him and wants him then she should go for it. Who cares about not being able to change he doesnt want her too. He loves her for the way she is. I hate brennan's parents and brother for abandoning her if they hadn't abandoned her brennan and booth would be sleeping with each other by now.
WHat i say this and was like yay, and then i screamed no no no no no no, because they have to be together !!!!
I can't wait for the season finale.
i'm sooo sad, the last scene made me cry a lot... i hope for the next episode that it will be better.. T.T

Of course I'm the only one happy they didn't get together, am I right?
Because Bones [the character] is so boring now. I don't like her so much anymore. She's straying too far from the way she used to be in favor of being more 'normal'.
Not to mention as soon as they're together this show will wind up getting boring. She'll get pregnant and they'll get married and then the series will end.
Im really hoping his comment about moving on will end up with him getting engaged to someone else...then on the day of the wedding all the squints plot to stall the wedding in order to help brennan get to the church in time in order to say I OBJECT..then of course much kissing and sleeping together should ensue.
sweets was like i said u cldnt kiss it wld break the bridge and u kissed i wonder if they ever told him about when bones kissed booth to get the trailer for her father for christmas.......
they're going to get together eventually because of that quote that was on the building and even after he told her he had to move on they walked away with linked arms
Logically, the episode HAD to end like that....because, as someone already said, if it hadn't the series would reach a downward spiral.
BUT, that doesn't stop me from absolutely hating the way it ended, I HATE it. It absolutely broke my heart. I'm pissed. I almost don't want to watch the show anymore, it's just all wrong.
That was so sad! Booth had tears in his eyes... I love it when a man cries. Bones is just scared. Scared te get hurt. Can't blame her. With her past... And he is so sweet for understanding!!! Loved this ep.

when they kissed, i just thought "aaah! THISCAN'TBE!", 'cause in my eyes, when they are together, the series should end.
But on the other side, I hate it how it turned out. Booth looked so sad. Booth... Booooth... how could brennan...
i mean, she had an relationship with Sully once, why not with booth?
AHHHHH I was going so well until the end! I started screaming NO NO NO! But this episode gives me some hope. They love each other, that is a fact and we know Brennan is fond of facts. That alone is enough to make her question her decision. Give it time. I still love this show!!!!
well that was a bit disappointing but the thing is, i think the writers will create a situation where bones realises her love for booth.she still doesn't know how much she loves him. maybe a new love interest for booth..
i hope they fix this the whole show is based off them being together and having feeling for each other
of course the very first second we think nooo, how could she...but i think it was good...i sometimes actually think sweets is ruining theier thing with all his pressuring to confess, u know...i mean brennan is such a rational person she has to learn how love him back in her own way. she is not ready now. i think booth will find someone else, making them going into diff. directions for a while and it will be her turn to get him in her life. she never let someone actually into her heart or head.. enough babbling, love this!! :)
they could totally get together and still havea great show. For one there is the obvious awkwardness of anyone trying to have a true emotional connection with bones, second them being together would be forbidden in the eyes of the law and working together there could even end up being a secret wedding. Ther perfect series finale would be bones giving birth and commenting ont he babies perfect bone structure and how it mimics booth's. There are so many things that happen in real everyday true relationships that are fraught with enough drama to keep a show going. They just keep playing on cheap tricks like will they or won't they.
I agree with, well, everyone. I mean if they got together now then the series would end but then WHY? It was sooooooo Bittersweet. The whole Booth crying thing and Bones saying that she didn't want to hurt him. Awwwwwwwww! Sorry, by the way, I just watched the episode and it kind of made me insane. Kyaaaaaaaaaaa
what about the next episode?? When's it out?? I'm hooked =D !!!
Thanks for this episode! I love it! I love the science, the rotten flesh and bones of this TV show, but mostly I love the interaction of Bones & Booth. Maybe now Brennan will start to change, to "soften up" for Booth once he said he is moving on. I hope to see some human feelings from Brennan on the next episodes: jealousy, stalking Booth and a possible girlfriend, "dumped-girl-syndrome". It can be very funny and very good for Brennan to learn not waste another opportunity with Booth. Hang in there dear Bones followers! AJ

I understand where shes coming from, she knows they are good together, but knows herself too and doesnt think she can love him that well.

AHHH!!! though i would love booth and brennan to be together... the writers had to end the episode like that... the entire show is based upon the interactions and the building tension between them as they become more aware of their feelings and, though i think they need to add the jealousy bit in there, i think they kind of overdo it in the next couple of episodes until this weeks where things seemed to be getting back to the balance that established prior to this episode which what i've come to love over the years
I love booth and bones. Hate the ending I don't wanna see them with someone else. the only reason why bones turned him down is because she doesn't want to lose him as a friend, she might be afrid that their relationship is not gonna work out, but heej it will work out, it has to.
