homer is on the screen b/c it is bones. if you watch carefully you can find other wierd jokes they like to throw in.in the episode where they are trying to find angelas boyfriend and they think the cop ditched them in the desert days from the nearest road, you can see a car about 500yds behind them.
No, Homer's on the screen because they're advertising The Simpsons, which is also broadcast on Fox.
Thanks SO much for posting these! I never have the time to watch Bones, and even when I do, they're out of order, so it's confusing. I wish Brennan and Booth would admit their feelings for each other all ready!!! GRRRR!!!! (jk)
